Samsara and Metamorphosis: The Mystical World of Seema Kohli
Pacific Art League, Palo Alto, California
Khula Aasman, meaning “Open Sky,” reflects a meditation on freedom, expansiveness, and the limitless potential of human consciousness. The sky, vast and boundless, becomes a metaphor for the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the confines of the material world. It evokes a sense of openness, where imagination, spirituality, and inner awareness can unfold without restriction.
Within this theme, Seema Kohli reflects on the human desire to transcend limitations and connect with a larger cosmic order. The imagery suggests movement, lightness, and spiritual ascent, inviting contemplation of the relationship between the individual self and the vastness of the universe. The open sky becomes a symbolic space of liberation—where the boundaries between the earthly and the cosmic dissolve.
