TAT TVAM ASI – you exist in everything, and the universe exists within you, forms the core of this unique selection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, etchings, and serigraphs, including hand-painted archival prints based on Seema Kohli’s video and performance art. Each work has a narrative and an insight into Seema’s oeuvre, which is predominantly based on the theme of ‘Shakti’ – the energy. Through her works, Seema Kohli brings to light the intricate connections of divine energies in our body and in the Universe.

The exhibition presents a collection of 33 artworks, specially curated for the London and worldwide audiences.

As part of the exhibition programme, Kohli also presented Parikrama, an experimental video performance, alongside Circle of Our Own, a live narrative performance at The Royal Academy of Arts, London (Benjamin West Lecture Theatre) on 2 November 2022. These performances extended the visual language of the exhibition into movement, voice, and embodied presence, reflecting the artist’s engagement with sacred landscapes, ritual journeys, and the cyclical nature of time and consciousness.
