Yoginis

About The Theme

The Yoginis occupy a powerful and mystical place within Tantric traditions, representing manifestations of the cosmic feminine and the many energies that govern the universe. Associated with ancient temple traditions and esoteric spiritual practices, the Yoginis embody freedom, transformation, and spiritual awakening. They are both guardians and carriers of sacred knowledge, symbolizing the limitless expressions of Shakti.

In Seema Kohli’s work, the Yoginis appear as fluid, dynamic presences that evoke movement and transcendence. They represent the boundless nature of feminine energy—playful, fierce, intuitive, and transformative. Through their presence, Kohli explores the idea of feminine consciousness as an evolving force that moves beyond fixed identities, celebrating the freedom and creative potential inherent within the cosmic feminine.
