Desh Pradesh – At Home in the World was a multidisciplinary group exhibition organised by Engendered and presented across heritage and contemporary venues in New Delhi in 2025.
Kohli participated with a pair of mixed-media works that reflected on migration, memory, and shared cultural identity. These pieces were hand-painted on vintage black-and-white silver gelatin photographs, with painted imagery overlaying scenes of village life, railway platforms, and migrating figures — visual interventions that embodied themes of movement, belonging, and the interweaving of histories between India and Pakistan.
The works were formally innovative and subtle, juxtaposing photographic archive with hand-drawn motifs that evoked both departure and continuity.
