Celestial Revelations was a solo exhibition of works by Seema Kohli presented at the MOSA Radhadesh Gallery, Belgium, and curated by Sushma K. Bahl. The exhibition brought together a significant body of Kohli’s paintings, sculptures, photographs, video works, and tridimensional paintings, reflecting several years of artistic exploration.

The exhibition opened with a well-attended inauguration at the gallery, where visitors gathered to experience Kohli’s expansive visual universe. The opening programme included addresses by curator Sushma K. Bahl and other invited speakers. The evening also featured a Bharatanatyam dance performance by Gaura Nataraja Dasa and a flute recital by Vivek Sonar, creating a performative and immersive atmosphere around the exhibition. The inauguration concluded with a guided walkthrough of the exhibition led by Seema Kohli, offering visitors insight into the philosophical and symbolic foundations of the works.

The artworks presented in Celestial Revelations explored Kohli’s long-standing engagement with themes of cosmology, spirituality, and metaphysical inquiry. Across paintings and sculptural forms, she reflected on concepts such as the cosmos, the universal form, devotion, yoga, and philosophical contemplations of existence. Her works evoked mythological narratives and spiritual archetypes while simultaneously engaging contemporary audiences through a richly layered visual language.

Executed through intricate lines, luminous colour fields, and surfaces enriched with gold leaf, the works embodied Kohli’s distinctive aesthetic vocabulary. Her imagery brought together celestial landscapes, divine beings, and symbolic forms, inviting viewers into a world where mythology, philosophy, and imagination intersect.

Through Celestial Revelations, Kohli presented a visionary artistic universe that sought to awaken contemplation and emotional resonance. The exhibition offered audiences an immersive encounter with a body of work that reflected her ongoing pursuit of deeper spiritual truths and her commitment to exploring the relationship between the cosmos, human consciousness, and artistic expression.
